The First Post!

My very first post on the brand new blog!

I will not focus on anything in particular in this post, except maybe list out (I love a good list..) some of the reasons I started this blog.. let's start with that!

• to document my happy little life with photos;
• so that when blogs I follow do blog-challenges, I actually get to participate;
• to share delicious recipes all at once - instead of emailing separately to my bff, my mom, other friends, and waiting a couple months to tell Jared's mom;
• to document our amazing DIY projects that often start with me saying "babe... I think I want _____" and then hopping in the car to head to one of the various home improvement stores near us;
• to feed my obsession with our dog. I can really only share so many photos on instagram and facebook...;
• to talk it out.. and think it out.. and get opinions. Jared only wants to hear so many of my GREAT ideas.. you get to hear read whatever I feel like sharing! 

Aside from that, the format of this blog will most likely change as I go on, and topics of focus will change from day to day, like my life.Welcome!
